Weekly Content Schedule for Blog Growth That Actually Works

Pinterest content roadmap pinterest strategy

I’m going to start with a story, but let me promise you this: If you hear my story and it sounds awfully familiar. You’ve experienced the voices in your head telling you this is too hard. If you’ve found yourself barely keeping your head above water. I was there, I was flailing, and I made it out with a weekly content schedule that made my blog and my business thrive. I want nothing more for you to feel that same success, that same mindset shift, and that same feeling of focused work that I feel each day.

Now my story started with tears over a to-do list.

I remember sitting on the floor of my laundry room (because it’s the only place I could find five seconds of quiet), clutching my planner in my hand, sitting on a pile of unfolded laundry. I had a blog post half-written, Pinterest pins that hadn’t been scheduled, emails sitting unanswered, and a dream that felt like it was slipping further out of reach by the day.

It wasn’t that I didn’t want to grow. I wanted it desperately. It wasn’t that I didn’t know how. I had the knowledge. The strategy. The vision. What I didn’t have was a system — a repeatable weekly content schedule for my blog, and I was just juggling all the things and trying to make it work.

Sound familiar?

If you’re a creator or small business owner, you know the feeling. There’s content to make. Funnels to build. Emails to send. A social media strategy to keep alive. And somehow you’re also supposed to eat healthy, raise kind humans, have a clean house, stay consistent online, and grow a six-figure business.

It’s too much. It’s way too much without a plan.

The Myth of “Doing It All”

Here’s what I’ve learned: the myth of “doing it all” is what keeps us stuck. You don’t need to do everything, every day. You need to do the right things at the right time — and you need a repeatable rhythm that lets you build, grow, and rest without burning out.

So I created a weekly schedule. Not a rigid, color-coded perfectionist nightmare — but a real-life, flexible framework that works for my actual life as a mom, a wife, and a full-time creator with big goals.

It’s not glamorous, but it’s magic. Here’s how it works.

My Weekly Workflow That Keeps It All Moving

Monday: CEO Day
This is my power seat. On Mondays, I check in on stats (like Pinterest traffic and blog post performance), set weekly goals, batch emails, and create my to-do list from a bird’s-eye view. I make sure the things I’m doing this week are aligned with what I’m actually trying to grow. (Spoiler: not all tasks deserve your time.)

Tuesday: Blog Day
This is my writing zone. I draft, edit, or publish 3-5 full blog posts. To complete all my blog posts ahead of time, I can solely focus on strategic, SEO-optimized, and built to convert posts. This is what moves the needle. Consistency over chaos wins every time.

Wednesday: Pinterest Day
This is where the blog post turns into 5-10 pins (I use my Canva templates to make it fast), I schedule everything into Tailwind or Pinterest natively, and I check in on any trending content or high performers to repin.

Thursday: Funnel + Freebie Day
I update opt-ins, tweak my welcome sequence, build new tripwires, or plan out how I’m nurturing my audience. Because content without a conversion path is just noise.

Friday: Catch-Up + CEO Reset
Life happens. Kids get sick. The dog eats your planner. So Friday is built-in margin. I use it to finish anything I didn’t get to — or, if I’m caught up, I prep ahead for next week or simply log off early (imagine that!).

Why This Schedule Works

Because it focuses. It builds. It stacks results instead of scattering energy.

It makes space for the content that matters. It gives Pinterest what it needs to grow on autopilot. It keeps my business not just running — but growing — even when life is messy.

And it’s all built around a simple tool I created to help me stay on track:
👉 The Content Roadmap: Your Weekly Guide to Consistent, Strategic Growth

It’s the exact system I use to stay focused, plan content that actually converts, and stop wasting time on things that don’t matter. Inside, you’ll get:

  • A plug-and-play weekly schedule template
  • My exact blog + Pinterest workflow
  • A list of what to actually prioritize each day
  • Built-in white space (because rest is part of the plan!)

You’re Not Failing. You’re Just Missing a System.

If you’ve been feeling like you’re behind, unproductive, or like you’re spinning in circles trying to grow — I want to tell you something I wish I had known earlier:

You’re not lazy. You’re not bad at business. You’re not failing. You’re just working without a rhythm. And once you get your days working for you — not against you — everything starts to shift.

You show up more consistently, create with more clarity and you finally start to see that beautiful, sustainable growth you’ve been chasing.

So stop trying to do all the things, every day. Start doing the right things, each week. Download the free Content Roadmap now — and give your blog, your Pinterest, and your business the plan they’ve been begging for. You don’t need more time. You need a better system.
